Frederick Marchildon MBA | PRINCIPAL


Fred Marchildon is an MBA graduate of McMaster University. He is a Retirement Income and Estate Transfer Specialist and an independent personal Financial Advisor with Investment Planning Counsel.  Fred has his Life and Mutual Fund licenses.

Fred’s experience includes a long and rewarding career with ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc. in Hamilton.  He served on the Advisory Committee of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario refining best practices for financial institutions.  He is a past Director on the Board of Directors of Employees of Dofasco Credit Union Ltd., the Golden Horseshoe Credit Union Ltd., and Catholic Family Services of Hamilton. Fred volunteers his free time and resources to charitable causes.

Fred’s career at ArcelorMittal Dofasco and his extensive network of contacts ensures that he is always up-to-date on issues related to their pension. He is thoroughly familiar with the company’s pension program and its myriad of components, including the Fund, Fund2, SRIP, DCPP, DPSP, and Retirement Allowance.  Two Roads Inc. presents regular workshops on the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Pension Program and hundreds of employees have attended and benefited. The Two Roads Centre continues to provide practical and valuable information to assist employees with their retirement planning.

Investment Philosophy

Fred has deep roots in the community and a great appreciation for the issues facing families. He has always believed that what the majority of hardworking families want is to improve the quality of life for themselves and their family. With respect to investment advice and retirement planning people want low-risk and reasonably priced solutions, honest advice and they want to work with someone they can trust. Fred delivers this every day to his clients and that’s what will continue to set Fred apart from other financial advisers.


Fred lives in Hamilton, Ontario with his wife Karen, close to their four children and grandchildren; and their ever-growing families. Fred’s interests include cars, sports and aviation; he is a seasoned pilot. As a family the Marchildon’s enjoy travelling, theatre, sports and outdoor activities.

Danielle joined the company in April 2009 following her graduation from McMaster University. She is an Estate Transfer Specialist and Mutual Fund licensed. She has her FPSC Level 1 (FPE1) ® Certificant in Financial Planning from the Financial Planners Standard Council (FPSC) of Ontario Danielle’s focus is on key corporate initiatives related to operations efficiency. As Senior Advisor she identifies and implements strategies to benefit client portfolios and account management. 


Danielle resides in Hamilton with her husband and their young family. She keeps active in the community volunteering.  In her leisure time she enjoys playing volleyball and baseball. She likes to read, travel and spend time with family and friends..

James is a Retirement Income and Estate Transfer Specialist and an independent personal Financial Advisor. As a Senior Advisor he provides investment and estate support, insurance advice, and tax planning and preparation. 

James joined the company in 2012. He attended Brock University and is a graduate of the Mohawk College McKeil School of Business Financial Services Program.  James serves as a Director on the Board of the Golden Horseshoe Credit Union Ltd.  He is Mutual Fund and Life licensed.


James resides in Hamilton with his wife and their young family. He keeps active in the community volunteering. In his leisure time he likes to exercise and play hockey and baseball. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Victoria joined the company in April 2019 following her graduation from Toronto Metropolitan University. As Client Account Manager Victoria manages assigned client accounts, acting as the first point-of-contact, addressing account issues and working with our Financial Partners, to ensure that clients receive the products and services they require in a timely fashion. Her Executive Assistant responsibilities include supporting senior Management.  


Victoria resides in Hamilton . In her leisure time she likes to exercise, enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Suzanne Cramm BA, General Manager

Suzanne joined the company in 2006.  She is a graduate of McMaster University.  She is responsible for office operations and procedures, payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, and supplier relationships.


Suzanne lives in Hamilton with her husband and their three children.  In her leisure time she enjoys music, travel and spending time with family and friends.

Joan Hartz has been in the financial services arena since 1972.  She joined the company in 2003 and in 2009 she became Chief Compliance Officer and Branch Manager.

Joan has her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designations.  She is also insurance licensed.     


Joan has lived in the Hamilton-Dundas area all of her life. Family has always been a priority.  One of Joan’s younger sisters recently moved into a nursing home; she is well versed on the challenges faced by those who have aging and ailing family members.  Vacations are spent with her nieces and nephew and two grand-nephews in sunny California.

Carolyn Schiestel | Administrative Assistant

Carolyn joined the company in 2020. As Assistant to the Client Account Manager she assists in the management of client calls, queries and accounts, and is responsible for Cheque, Banking, GIC Certificate and Vendor Management. Her responsibilities also include supporting Advisors and Senior Management as needed.  


Carolyn resides in Hamilton with her fiancé. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
